Six members of the Manchester City squad were recognised for their role in England’s historic UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 triumph as they celebrated with fans at the Etihad Stadium.

Ellie Roebuck, Alex Greenwood, Demi Stokes, Keira Walsh, Chloe Kelly and Lauren Hemp were all presented to supporters ahead of City’s Premier League triumph over Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

It was a truly memorable summer of football, which saw England’s 56 year wait for a major international tournament triumph come to an end.

And City left a distinct imprint on an historic triumph for the nation, with Kelly grabbing the deciding goal in extra time to down Germany in front of a record crowd in the final.
