The in-form forward has played an integral part in City’s impressive recent run, bagging eight goals in her last nine games in all competitions, including her last four in a row.
The winger – the left-sided threat in a potent attacking trident with Ellen White and Chloe Kelly – has also chipped in with assists and influential performances with many tipping the 20-year-old for great things in her short and long-term future.
Preparing herself for European action in Thursday’s Champions League Round of 16 second leg clash against Fiorentina, the youngster says has equally high hopes for her career, aiming for the stars.

“I would love to win the Champions League – it’s something I’d definitely love to tick off the list!” she said.
“I could do it this year and see how many times I could do it!
“It’s great to be out there. I haven’t had many opportunities – I didn’t get to go to Goteborg – but it’s nice to get those opportunities to go away. I’m lucky enough to play for a Club pushing for the Champions League.
“We know we’ve got the team to do it and we’re looking forward to showing what we can do.
“We’re pushing for the league and now the Champions League. Travelling to different places and seeing different cities is amazing – it’s such a bonus. I’m looking to push on and do better – from tomorrow and then it’s on to Bristol [on Wednesday].
“It’s important not to be complacent. We’re 3-0 up but we’ll still stick to the gameplan. We’ve been focusing on stuff over the last week to prepare us for this game.
“Hopefully, we get the result we want.”
The subject of Olympic hopes were raised following the appointment of Hege Riise as Team GB’s coach.
Riise won a gold medal in the 2000 Games and was also the assistant coach to gold medallists the United States team at London 2012.
Having worked with her whilst on England duty, Hemp says she is relishing the prospect of soaking up more knowledge from another successful and experienced coach, having already learned a lot from Nick Cushing and now Gareth Taylor, as well as her international peers.
“It’s great to see,” Hemp declared of Riise’s appointment. “I worked with her at the last camp and we got on well.
“Her knowledge will definitely help the team. I can’t wait to work with her. Hopefully, she will help me to improve – she’s a great manager to lead the girls to success.
“I’d love to be part of the Olympic squad.
“I’m pleased with my contribution with goals and assists since coming back from injury.
“I know I still have a lot of things to improve on. I’m only 20 and there’s a lot more I can be doing to help the team, being consistent through each game.
“It’s important that I’ve had conversations with Gaz over the last few weeks about where I can improve and help the team even more, contributing to more.
“Me and Gaz have a good relationship, as I do with the other staff members. I had lots of conversations with him throughout my injury and before, and I worked hard in pre-seasons.
“All the girls are tough competition – they’re all fantastic players – and I’m lucky enough to be surrounded by them every day.
“Ellen White is something I’ve looked up to since I was young, watching the World Cup back at home. Being able to play on the same pitch as her and the other girls is an honour.
“We’re working closely together in training to get the partnership right, along with Chloe and the other wingers and forwards.
“It’s a nice partnership to have but whoever comes in, in this versatile team, can do the job and get the results.
“Being around people like that will make me a better player. Being at his Club has helped my growth and improvement.
“I want to keep pushing and improving, and hopefully I can help the team to lift trophies this season, carrying that on throughout the seasons to come.”
