Pep Guardiola preview
Pep Guardiola has confirmed that City have a fully fit squad to select from, bar Ruben Dias and Cole Palmer, ahead of Sunday’s key Premier League clash at home to Liverpool.
The Portuguese centre half has been sidelined for a month with a hamstring injury while Palmer has also been out with a foot issue.

And, addressing the media at Friday’s pre-match press conference, the boss revealed that the duo will again be missing on Sunday.
But, with Kyle Walker available again after missing Tuesday’s Champions League quarter-final first leg win over Atletico Madrid through suspension, Guardiola said he otherwise had a full squad to select from.
“Everyone is fit. Ruben, no and not Cole Palmer,”

Last time out
Kevin De Bruyne‘s clinical second half strike was enough to hand City a 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid in the first leg of our Champions League quarter-final clash.
The Belgian latched onto Phil Foden‘s incisive ball in behind before finishing under Jan Oblak to hand Guardiola‘s men the advantage ahead of Wednesday’s return fixture in Madrid.
Liverpool also claimed a victory in their Champions League last eight encounter, beating Benfica 3-1 at the Estadio da Luz.

Previous meeting
It was honours even between City and Liverpool in our most recent encounter, with both sides serving up a Premier League classic at Anfield in October.
Liverpool twice took the lead through Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, but were pegged back on both occasions thanks to goals from Foden and De Bruyne.
The draw left the hosts second in the table, with City one place and one point behind after seven matches.
Form Guide
Both teams come into Sunday’s tie in sparkling form.
City are unbeaten in our last eight matches, while we have only tasted defeat once in our last 22 outings.
We have kept a clean sheet in nine of our last twelve matches and have scored 27 times in that sequence.
Liverpool on the other hand have won their last ten Premier League matches, conceding on just two occasions.
