PEP GUARDIOLA PREVIEW
On Friday afternoon, Pep Guardiola addressed the media ahead of our trip to Wolves. The boss was asked to provide an squad update in which he confirmed City will be without a number of key players.
“We have training this afternoon. John [Stones] is not ready,” said Guardiola.
“Kevin [De Bruyne] is not ready. Bernardo [Silva] is not okay - I think the rest are fine though maybe someone else that I don’t have in my mind.
“John is better, much better. He feels really good. He is training alone, but maybe next week or after Leipzig he will start.”
Guardiola also discussed Rodrigo being unavailable for selection through suspension.
“It is what it is. It’s a pity but if you are not [available] you are not. I have to find a solution. I am not here to complain.”
PREVIOUS MEETING
In our last trip to Molineux, goals from Jack Grealish, Erling Haaland and Phil Foden saw City to a 3-0 victory and to the top of the Premier League table in September last year.

We faced them again in January of this year at the Etihad Stadium, where Haaland was our hat-trick hero as his fourth treble of the season ensured a 3-0 victory for the second match in succession.
LAST TIME OUT
First-half strikes from Phil Foden and Erling Haaland saw 10-man City overcome Nottingham Forest 2-0 to make it six wins out of six in the Premier League and extend our lead at the top of the table last weekend.
On Wednesday night, we were eliminated from the Carabao Cup after a 1-0 defeat away to Newcastle United.
As for Wolves, their 10-men held on for a 1-1 draw away to Luton Town last weekend and they were also eliminated from the Carabao Cup, losing 3-2 against Ipswich Town.
