Gareth Taylor preview
The winger withdrew from the latest England squad to receive treatment on a thigh complaint sustained before the international break.
Asked whether Hemp would be included against the Toffees, the boss explained that a final call would be made in the coming hours.
“She obviously picked up something quite slight from Reading,” Taylor revealed.
“We will find out a little bit more over the next 24 hours if she’ll be available or not.
“We took the precaution over the last few days to keep her out of the training practices.
“We’ll have some news in 24 hours.”

Form Guide
City are one of the WSL’s in-form teams, looking to grab a sixth successive victory in all competitions when we travel to Walton Hall Park.
Four of those wins have come in the league, with Taylor’s side hot on the heels of third-placed Manchester United.
Everton, meanwhile, currently sit seventh in the table having won three and lost three of their opening six matches this season.
Previous meeting
Two goals in either half were enough to hand City a 4-0 victory in our most recent encounter with Everton back in March 2022.
Ellen White, Alex Greenwood and Laura Coombs were all on target after a Simone Magill own goal had opened the scoring at the Academy Stadium.
There was more reason to cheer at the final whistle, as we marked our 100th league victory since we became a professional outfit in 2014.

Last time out
City come into the tie on the back of a convincing 3-0 triumph at Reading.
Taylor’s side had to wait until the second half to get our noses in front, with two unfortunate own goals from Emma Mukandi setting us on our way to a deserved victory.
Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw - October’s WSL Player of the Month - headed home her seventh goal in six matches to complete the scoring from Mary Fowler‘s pinpoint cross.
Everton’s most recent action came in a 3-0 home defeat to Manchester United at the end of October, with the Toffees’ trip to Tottenham Hotspur in the final round of matches before the international break postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

- Lauren Hemp has created more chances from open play than any other player in the Barclays WSL so far this season (16).
