Exciting young full-back
A product of our Academy system, 18-year-old defender Thomas joined the Club back in 2016 and has since worked her way through the ranks to become a regular in our matchday squads across 2024/25.
Having already featured in behind closed doors friendlies for Gareth Taylor’s side, Thomas was one of four academy starlets to join the squad on our Australia pre-season Tour.
The full-back came off the bench in both of our fixtures Down Under, playing 30 minutes against Leicester before a late cameo against Paris Saint-Germain.
She’s also gained senior exposure while on a dual registration at AFC Fylde last season, a pathway in which Khiara Keating has previously tasted success earlier in her career.
An energetic right-back who combines tenacity off the ball with quality on it, Thomas is an exciting and highly rated talent who is sure to go from strength to strength.
She made her senior debut for the Club in City’s UEFA Women’s Champions League clash with St Polten in October 2024.
Codie then put pen to paper on her first professional contract with the Club in December 2024.
