Exciting Midfielder
Initially joining the Club from grassroots football in 2022, young Republic of Ireland midfielder O’Carroll has worked her way through City’s Academy system to become a regular part of Gareth Taylor‘s senior squad.
A composed and versatile midfielder, the teenager is comfortable sitting in front of the defence and dictating play or bursting forward to join the attack.
She was also one of four Academy stars to feature on our pre-season tour of Australia, starting our opening friendly in Perth against Leicester City before being replaced by Yui Hasegawa on the hour.
She also gained valuable experience last season on a dual registration at FC United of Manchester, before making her senior debut as a substitute in City’s 4-0 WSL win over Leicester in December 2024.
