MIDFIELD MAESTRO
Laura Blindkilde Brown joined Manchester City on deadline day January 2024.
She joined the Club from fellow Barclays Women’s Super League outfit Aston Villa having forged a reputation as one of the most exciting young midfielders in the country.
Prior to joining City, Blindkilde Brown already had two full seasons of experience playing in the English top-flight, helping Villa to a fifth-place finish at the end of the 2022/23 campaign, totalling 21 appearances in Villa’s best-ever WSL finish.
She made her City debut when coming off the bench against Leicester in February 2024, and would grab her first goal in Blue two months later in a 5-0 win over West Ham United.
Laura featured 21 times in all competitions in her first full campaign at the Club in 2024/25, finding the net against Hammarby in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Her form was also recognised by a senior England debut in December 2024, as Blindkilde Brown started in a 1-0 friendly win against Switzerland.
