Previous meeting
City were forced to settle for a point in our most recent encounter with the Gunners, as Tobin Heath’s stoppage time equaliser cancelled out Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw’s opener.
Gareth Taylor’s side took the lead on the hour when Shaw tapped home Lauren Hemp’s inch-perfect cross.
But we were denied a seventh-straight victory when Heath picked up a loose ball and fired a low effort across goal and into the bottom corner.
It was cruel on City, who had perhaps deserved all three points on the balance of play against the WSL’s league leaders.
